Cervantes for Saniata Ti Ylocos 2018
The province of Ilocos
Sur will be celebrating their Bi-Centennial Year as a province and one of the
highlight of the said event is the crowning of Saniata ti Ylocos Sur 2018, and
among the candidates, Angelita Paredes Soliven of Cervantes is a favorite to
win the crown for her innate beauty, lovely and friendly aura as well as her
wit.
Angelita as a
daughter of Mr. Dario and Mrs. Genevieve Soliven of the Cervantes, is the youngest,
the eldest is April who had been the representative of the province in Miss
Global Philippines 2016 and Rio is the middle child and their only brother.
For being a trust
worthy person whom you can always lean on is what her friends are so lucky to
have in her since don’t have a lot of friends because she not that friendly but
you can always approach her and mind you, you will grow to treasure if you will
be one of her chosen friends.
She is currently a
4th year college student taking up Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Science at
Lorma Colleges.
Her first pageant happened way back 2010, when she
represented the high school department and despite being the youngest among the candidates she was able
to clinch her first title as Miss Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State Collge - Cervantes
Intramurals 2010
At first she joined
beauty pageant because it was needed for her academic purposes but when she was
in college, her family especially her mom and her sister really encouraged her o
join beauty pageant. and she was blessed enough to clinched Miss ISPSC 2014,
Senorita Feria De Candon 2014, Miss Lorma Intramurals 2014 and Miss SBO Sportsfest
2014 and now , she is currently a candidate of Saniata ti Ylocos Sur 2018. As a
pure Ilocana born in Ilocos Sur, she wants to achieve the title because it will
be an honor for her hometown of Cervantes
and it will also be a big opportunity for her to promote the tourism industry
of Ilocos Sur as well as the One Town One Product of her municipality which is
ginger, which is a source of livelihood among the people of Cervantes..
There are people who
are behind her pageant's success and she wants to extend her gratitude that
includes her family because they are the ones who really sacrificed a lot in
every pageant that she joins since they were very supportive in everything that
she do. In addition she also want to say thank you to her make up artist (Arnel
Callejo), choreographer(Charlie Galoso) and blogger(Airwind Bautista).
As a beauty queen
she is inspired by other pagenat queens like for local, she thinks it will be
the reigning Saniata Ti Ylocos Sur 2017 Miss Angelica Maranan since she is
humble and kind to everyone. She personally adore her especially the way she
delivers herself in beauty pageant.
On national pageant level, Angelita always adore the simplicity of Miss Universe Philippines 2011- Miss Shamcey Supsup. She is a total package having the beauty, intelligence and talent of arts. She is the ultimate expression of a Filipina woman who posses beauty and wit..
And lastly she idolizes Miss Kylie Versoza, our Miss International 2016. She is very beautiful inside and out. At the very start of her career in joining the Bb. Pilipinas 2015 and in the eventual year she won, Bb. Pilipinas 2016, she already noticed her beauty.

For this year, she
will concentrate on her pageant this February which is the Saniata ti Ylocos
Sur 2018 and doesn't have any plans yet after to join after this pageant.
In her future
career, Angelita wants to work in a
hospital in the future because that is what she loves, to serve and cure the people who are suffering
from illness.
Angelita is so humbly to say that, in terms of pageantry, she thinks, she still needs to practice more on walking and posing because those are important points in joining beauty pageant aside from preparing herself to give her best shot to answer any questions be thrown at her in a question and answer portion.
To maintain her
looks, she just make sure to wash her face every morning and before sleeping
and it is really important to use a make-up remover especially when joining
beauty pageants to keep herself free from the traces of make-up.
To end she want to impart
to other aspiring beauty queens to
"Just be yourself and always remember that you are beautiful. You should
not compare yourself to other candidates and you should always remember to
enjoy the moment."
