Last June 24, 2019, the press had a conference with the delegate at the Prowess Supremacy Productions Office in Quezon City. He had shared the training he had undergone as a preparation for the pageant and opinion regarding different topics which the press had asked him.
He will be taking part on the pageant, Mister National Universe 2019 in Thailand on July 1, 2019
His participation on the pageant is a partnership of Prowess Supremacy and Harljik Production by sir Harljik Mirasol. He was chosen to participate of the pageant as the grand winner of World's Best Model Philippines 2019 under Prowess Supremacy.
18 years old fashion model, Wilson Yalung is Mister National Universe Philippines. He is the male grand winner of World’s Best Model Philippines 2019. A home-grown talent of Silang, Cavite, Wilson was discovered in 2015 while he was skate boarding, and has been modelling for three years now. An incoming freshman at New Era College. Wilson is keen on finishing his studies while fulfilling his dream of giving support to his family through his modeling career. As a gym rat and sports enthusiasts, he spendsnhis free time playing sports or working out in a gymnasium or health spa. His devotion to being physically fit has instilled in him self-discipline and determination. A movie fanatic, his passion for the cinema leads him to watching different times of local and American films. He hones his mental skills as a gamer playing interactive games and role playing games. As a foodie, Wilson is all out when it comes to tasting different kinds of cuisine.

EDUCATION: “Education is more than just earning a diploma. Real education
goes beyond the books we read or the classrooms we go to for our courses.
For me, education means practicing moral values, being a positive thinker,
having the attitude of helping others and giving back to society.” “Our
education starts from our homes and developed further in our schools. We
learn values that will make us help our society become better. We are also
trained for healthier interactions in all aspects of our lives.”
SOCIAL SKILLS: “Positive social skills promote dialogue among people. We
need friends who can provide a support network. We can help each other
come up with ideas on how to deal with our daily challenges. Whether you
speak in your native tongue or in English, having a pleasant conversation with
others is not just a skill but a necessity. Having good social skills can help
improve our social, mental and emotional well-being. Social skills can also help
you with connected to the right people for your career.”
BULLYING: “I wish school officials and parents can do something about bullying
in schools. Bullying can lead to depression and anxiety. The bullied child may
lose sleep and eat less. He or she might even miss school or drop out of school.
This issue may even persist when he or she becomes and adult. Some bullied
children resort to violence also. If we see children in our schools being bullied,
let us find a way to help them.”
