Divina Marie Villanueva was declared as the winner of the Mutia ti La Union 2020
Winner- Divina Marie Villanueva, Sudipen
Mutia ti Turismo - Rosario, Fe Ladyma Abacco
Mutia ti Agrikultura - Pugo, Shaira May Soria
1RU - Balaoan, Cristine Jan Padua
2RU - City of San Fernando, Roxanne Sanglay
The victory of Divina is a back to back win of Sudipen, her handler is Tonee Chan and after two failed attempts in municipal pageants in La Union, she was appointed to represent the town headed by Mayor Wendy Joy Buquing. From the very start she had a good fight since was able to clinch different awards in terms of test of intelligence and pasarela, and in the end she was able to prove that indeed the standard of pageantry had leveled up with the victory of combining wit and beauty to clinch a title.
One touching thing she mentioned during the Top 10 casual interview, was about her family. Ms. Divina Marie Ortiz Villanueva, the newly crowned Mutia ti La Union 2020, mentioned that no matter what happened in the pageant, whether to win or lose, she will spend a meal with her family as a bonding since she had spent the past months with her stint in the pageant, away from her family.
And last night she went home with a crown and the best way indeed to celebrate is to spend a meal with them.
It is a privilege for Halo-Halo De Iloko to be the place for Divine and her family to have their first family meal after the pageant.
