Youth for the care of the environment With Hon. Kirk Andrew Agulan, SK Federation President of CSF La Union

Youth for the care of the environment.

SK Federation President Kirk Andrew M. Agulan participated in the 3rd edition of Pasko sa Batis ng Bakawan, promoting care and protection of the 18 hectares of mangrove timberland, wherein his barangay Carlatan is part of it. He had expressed appreciation of the mangrove protection project of the Association of Tourism Industries and Networks in La Union (ATIN LU) and Chamber of Commerce and Industry in La Union (CCI LU), since he values the importance of the youth to be involved in the preservation of the mangroves since Carlatan is near the coastal area where fishing is a livelihood and as we all know, fishes thrive where there is a mangrove. He had shown gratitude towards the organizers for sharing a gift to the lucky recipients from Carlatan and ended his message with a commitment to take part in the future projects of ATIN LU most especially with regards to nature preservation and environmental protection. The said event is supported by the City Government of San Fernando, Provincial Government of La Union and Department of Tourism Region I.
