Lawrence Bengua for Mr. Teen Asian International 2019
A new pageant king is now making waves in the person of Lawrence Mandapat Bengua, 19 years old and stands a towering height of 6 feet from San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
He is a student from Bulacan State University (Sarmiento campus), taking up Food Service Management. He started joining pageant when he was 13 years old. He recalls that it was his first time to join, it was during school intramurals and every year level there should only be one candidate and luckily, he was chose to represent Grade 8 level but he wasn't able to win the title. Then the second pageant that he joined was during his senior high school days and finally got the title as a Mr.Senior High School, then he competed in city level way back 2017 at the pageant , Mr. & Ms. Tanglawan 2017 in San Jose Del Monte Bulacan, he was the representative of baranggay Muzon where he made it as one of the 7 finalist , and lastly, an opportunity came to him when he joined Man of the Globe Philippines 2018, he was hesitant at first but he still pursued his dreams and so became the official candidate of Bulacan province, it was a tough journey for him but with God's grace, he was able to win the title as Man of the Globe Philippines - Mr. Teen Asian International 2018.
What really motivates him to join pageants is to boost his self confidence and surpass his limitations. The reason why he joined Man of the Globe Philippines 2018 was his desire to prove that he can win the crown and bring pride to his province and his family which he did. Right now he is preparing for his international competition by taking care of himself and by observing many pageants that he watched. His international pageant will be held in Singapore on 2019.
