Search for Millennial Health Advocates for HIV/AIDS 2017

December 1, 2017, LA Union College of Science & Technology, Bauang, La Union

An event organized by the Municipal Health Office of Bauang in celebration of the World AIDS Day.

 The judges were composed of the Dr. Erwil Nunan, Ms. Karen Carmi Malig and Airwind Bautista.

The candidates from the different secondary schools of Bauang sent their representatives and composed of 1 female student, 1 male student and 1 lgbt student.
The candidates battled for the title thru a self introduction and casual wear in the first round then 5 students moved up to compete in spoken poetry and lastly two best students in each category answered the crucial question and answer round.

 in the end of the contest, the winners are 
Male winner - James Leonard Eusebio pf Baccuit National High School
Female winner- Jeddy Masi of Don Eulogio De Guzman Memorial National High School
LGBT winner- Hanz Almer Quilit of Bawanta National High School

the winners will be part of the AIDS awareness campaign of Bauang as spokespersons.

Congratulations to the staff of the Municipal Health Office of Bauang for the success of the event with the support of the Municipal Government of Bauang, La Union.

Carina Cariño, Miss Millennial La Union won the 1st Runner-Up placement

The delegate of La Union, Carina G. Cariño, won the 1st Runner-up placement at the Search for Miss Millennial Philippines 2017,. held last September 30, 2017 in SM Mall of Asia ARENA.

The participation of Carina was well supported by her family, friends and of the Provincial Government of La Union thru the series of tourism shoots, courtesy calls to the different municipalities and with the city, and the campus tours to different schools in La Union as well as thru the visits to  different agri-tourism establishments from restaurants, resorts, farms, churches and the likes.


Her handler and make-up artist is Paul Sanglay who also designed her regional costume together with Arch. Bobby Baradi.
It was an honor, on my part to be part of her journey as her pageant blogger/publicist since she represented well herself and the province in her pageant journey.

The provincial government of La Union celebrated their family day 2017 with a lot of activities and it culminated with the awarding and the pageant for the male employees who dressed up as ladies.

Winner - Dome B. Concubierta, Caba District Hospital representing the Central East Circuit
1st Runner-up - Constante A. Mendoza,Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Northern Circuit
2nd Runner-up - Dominador L. Lardizabal Jr., PGSO, Central Circuit

Mark Kevin P. Monis, Jail, Southern Circuit

 Last September 12, 2017, I was invited to sit as one of the judges for the Search for Mr. & Miss College of Engineering 2017 of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University- Mid La Union Campus, City of San Fernando, La Union, organized by the Cultural Unit of the College of Engineering.
