An event presented by The Provincial Government of La Union in co-operation with the Association of Tourism Industries of La Union
Miss Anne Margareth Sanglay, or Meghan represented the Municipality of Sudipen, La Union in the said pageant where she bested the other 19 candidates. The pageant started with so much adulation by the audience and the opening number is so grand and audience felt like they are in a Cirque de Soliel and when the 20 candidates were presented, the supporters were cheering their names, candidate number and name of their municipality.
The candidates sashayed the stage donning their white swimsuit and red gowns. The special and minor awards were presented to the following candidates:

Miss Beautiful Skin, Camille Dalmacio of Agoo
Miss CSI, Mari Jo Quilon of the City of San Fernando
Miss LUECO, Joy Valdriz of San Juan
Miss Sillag, Camille Dalmacio of Agoo
Miss Friendship, Dimples Martin of Bauang
Miss Photogenic, Rebecca Estrada of Pugo
People's Choice, Nerissa Shawyer
Miss Thunderbird Resort, Mari Jo Quilon of the City of San Fernando
Miss Toyota, Dimples Martin of Bauang
Miss Soiltech. Meghan Sanglay of Sudipen
Miss 1590, Dimples Martin of Bauang
Best Designer, Donny Baradi of Bauang
Best in Talent, Emelyn Patricio of Bacnotan
Best in Swumsuit, Rebecca Estrada of Pugo
Best in Gown, Rebecca Estrada of Pugo
The top 10 candidates were Rebecca Estrada of Pugo, Ethel Abellanosa of Tubao, Mari Jo Quilon of City of San Fernando, Meghan Sanglay of Sudipen, Camille Dalmacio of Agoo, Angelita Soliven of Santo Tomas, Jessica Estillore of Naguilian, Kristine Aquino of Bangar, Aleeya Joy Sampaga of Luna and Rosenda Bulong.
The top 5 candidates were announced after the nerve wracking casual interview where the top 10 candidates were asked by the 5 judges composed of Paulo Avelino, Jodi Santa Maria, Melanie Marquez, Megan Young and Raymund Isaac.The top 5 were composed of the ladies of Bangar, City of San Fernando, Pugo, Tubao and Sudipen.
The 5 ladies then answered a common question and from that the winner was declared.
