The 29 years old OFW from Sarangani province won as the new Man of the Philippines 2019 (Man of the Universe), he will compete in Cebu next year. Ian stands 5'9" and currently works as a Client Service Associate in a CyberSecurity Company. He was actually the first ever winner of the Man of the Philippines - UAE 2018 and reaped awards like Best in Formal Wear and Man of Fair and Handsome. Due to hectic work schedules, he was not able to participate and was then encouraged by his friends to join the Man of the Philippines 2019 edition where he represented his province of Sarangani. He considers his parents as his inspiration to join the pageant. Sarangani is the Aquaculture Capital of the Philippines and is celebrating Munato Festival which promotes the 2,000 year old historical articats found in the Ayub Caves of Maitum town.
His advocacy is all about QUEST (Quality Education fro Sarangani Today) and he is going to promote it as now the winner of Man of the Philippines.
Gerald Anson of the Filipino Community Dubai won as the Mister Model of the World and will compete in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Jonathan Mercado of the Province of Cavite and Mar Mendioal Genato of SIlang, Cavite were the runners-up of the pageant and Jevon Reely Culalal of Guagua, Pampanga was awarded as the Man of the Philippines Ambassador.
