Eric John De Ocampo, a 23 years old is the Man of the Philippines Rosario Batangas 2018. Eric John was born last July 28,1994 in Natu, Rosario, Batangas. He is a middle child of 5 children. He is currently working as a consultant/team leader at one of the top skin care clinic in the Philippines but he is planning to apply again in hospitality industry because he is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in International Travel and Tourism Management. He had been also in United states for his internship program at a 4star and 4AAA Diamond hotel last 2015-2016.

Eric John is into sports, he can play any sports because when he was in elementary, high school and college, he was very active in sports. He loves traveling, watching movies, hanging-out with friends and he also loves cooking.

Eric John started joining pageant when he was in high school then continued while in college where-in he was 4th Runner up - Mr CITHM 2015, Best in Indigenous Costume/ Mr. Ecotourism Rosario Batangas 2017 (title) - Best in Swimwear / Mr. HotBods 2018( Title) at Batangas City.

The Director of Man of the Philippines Calabarzon contacted him to join the Man of the Philippines since he had seen him in a pageant and found potentials. He wants to join also in this pageant because he wants to improve his self confidence. He is inspired by his family as he is out there to advocate for Restore , Revive & Regenerate . These are his life words up to now . Restore to bring back the beauty of shores by simply doing coastal clean ups and planting mangrove trees. Revive the decreasing number of sea turtles which are now endangered. Regenerate to replace a hatching home for the eggs that sooner will be sea turtles who will be happy to live on our majestic seas . If we can protect other marine animals and if we can preserve our 7,641 islands, rebuild our homes and dreams why can't we protect And regrow a thousands of sea turtles and other marine animals.

Eric John is from Rosario Batangas, one of the municipality of Batangas also known as the Rice Granary of Batangas, Agro-Industrial Capital of Southern Tagalog. The best experience that he considers as the best in Man of the Philippines when he met all the organizer and all national candidates because he felt that he have a new big family. Eric John mentioned that he had learned a lot because many people who supports him have given him a lot of advice. Also Being a candidate of Man of the Philippines, they will give all candidates the best experience. He is grateful for all the support that had been extended to him.
