Rayray-aw 2025 Highlights La Union’s Emerging Talents and Cultural Pride

Bacnotan, La Union – As one of the invited audience members, I had the privilege of witnessing Rayray-aw 2025: Aldaw ti Ayat ken Rayray-aw, organized by the La Union Provincial Tourism Office (LUPTO). The event truly showcased the remarkable talents of La Union constituents.

The celebration featured a painting exhibit that highlighted the creativity of local artists, providing a glimpse into the vibrant art scene of the province. On stage, the audience was treated to an array of performances, including a compelling monologue presentation, cultural dances that reflected the province’s heritage, and an inspiring choral competition with the participation of both high school students and college/community groups.

From visual arts to performing arts, Rayray-aw 2025 proved to be a platform where grassroots talents could shine and be discovered. As an observer, I found the event commendable for its role in recognizing and nurturing homegrown creativity. Such initiatives not only celebrate artistry but also strengthen cultural pride and identity in La Union.
