WORLD CUP OF COUTURE DESIGNER’S COMPETITION

Mr. and Ms. Runway Model Universe is a Filipino owned company that advocates on cultural exchange and diversity, aimed at fulfilling international understanding that celebrates the festivity of diversity arts, fashion, cultured & ethnicity of direct through this modeling and couture designer’s search while promoting camaraderie and unity for one humanity.

This is an invitational COUTURE DESIGNER’S creation and INTERNATIONAL MODEL’S contest in the Universe with the final platform which will bring the couture collections to showcase their creations and introduce potential Male & Female Models around the globe to participate in the first legendary edition of the contest with entirely provided exclusively and privileged activities by our honoured and diverse sponsors, partners and performers to the entire country of Philippines. The Professional and Newbie Fashion Designers and Leading Models are waiting to showcase the Designer’s collections to be the top version of “DESIGNERS” & “MODELS”. We would like to present the new era of renowned couture designers & models contest to the industry. The score will be given to the following entries as top “DESIGNERS” & top “MODELS”.

Star Realms Corporation presents the pageant finale of Man of the Philippines 2018.
The Man of the Philippines 2018 candidates will be presented to the pageant bloggers on November 25,2018,m 2 PM at the Granvia Cafe at The A.Venue Hotel.  The event is strictly by invitation only.

The Pre-pageant night is on November 26, 2018 at The Avenue Hotel Makati City at 3pm for the swimwear and 6pm for the Festival Costume. The Entrance Fee is Php 300.00
The Talent Night competition will be on November  27, 2018 at Capitol Hills, Quezon City.
The grand finals will be on November 29 at Vivere Hotel Alabang, show starts at 7pm onwards. Entrance ticket is at Php 1,000.00

JAMS Top Model 2018

The winners of the JAMS Top Model 2018 were presented to the media and pageant bloggers at American Steak House, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City, the winners were indeed full of potential but it will not stop from being winners since all of them will undergo more trainings especially personality development aside from enhancing their skills in modelling, acting, dancing and singing. They are all interested to be an actor or actresses and being a part of JAMS Top Model 2018 will be their way to enter the entertainment industry.
So let’s watch out for the winners of JAMS Top Model 2018 as they conquer the world of modelling and entertainment industry.

Jeff Langan for Manhunt International 2018

Jeff Langan, Manhunt Philippines 2018 winner is bound to compete for the Manhunt International 2018. He will compete in Gold Coast, Australia from November 26 to December 2, 2018. He was given a send-off at the Empire Studio, UP Town BGC where the pageant bloggers got the chance to have an up close and personal encounter with Jeff. He was joined by the other GLAM winners.
Jeff Langan is the first ever winner of Manhunt Philippines under the Global Asian Model Philippines Search.

Blanco Family Gallery: PIA/NCCA Heritage Caravan

An Art Museum of a family of artists.Paintings are done by the talented members of the Blanco Family where in all of the members (father, mother and 7 kids) paint.
Located in the heart of the town of Angono (The art capital of the Philippines) 312 Ibanez st. Angono, Rizal. Philippines.
During our visit, it was a great thing to talk to one of the children, Michael Blanco, who is a Literature graduate. He recalled that he started painting when he was 10 years old, a grade 4 pupil who were inclined to art.
He mentioned that when he and his family visit a certain place, they usually paint inspired from the place thus when I asked if they have a Cordilleran heritage, he said no but they have artworks inspired from the culture of Cordillera.
The tour guide mentioned that the father was popular as Pitok, since he liked fishing and when he is done with it, he usually turned his boat upside down and sleep and looks like a died fish upside down.
He also mentioned that all the children undergo a thesis, to determine if they are ready for solo exhibit.
Michael Blanco aspires that the Blanco Family Gallery will be a hub for art wherein people will flock the place not just to view the painting but to experience painting, enjoy foods and be part of the art community since they are opening the place for different art activities and different art genres.
Indeed their presence in Angono is a living testament that it is indeed an Art Capital in the Philippines.

Exploring the Works of BOTONG: PIA/NCCA Heritage Caravan

Carlos “Botong” Francisco, the poet of Angono, single-handedly revived the forgotten art of mural and remained its most distinguished practitioner for nearly three decades. In panels such as those that grace the City Hall of Manila, Francisco turned fragments of the historic past into vivid records of the legendary courage of the ancestors of his race. He was invariably linked with the “modernist” artists, forming with Victorio C. Edades and Galo Ocampo what was then known in the local art circles as “The Triumvirate”. Botong’s unerring eye for composition, the lush tropical sense of color and an abiding faith in the folk values typified by the townspeople of Angono became the hallmark of his art.
His other major works include the following: Portrait of Purita, The Invasion of Limahong, Serenade, Muslim Betrothal, Blood Compact, First Mass at Limasawa, The Martyrdom of Rizal, Bayanihan, Magpupukot, Fiesta, Bayanihan sa Bukid, Sandugo.
The people of Angono gives tribute to his works by a mural depicting the paintings of Carlos “Botong” Francisco located at the Brgy. Poblacion Itaas. It is the real heritage walk to view the different murals inspired by the paintings of Botong.
