As part of the Man of the Universe 2019, I was been a witness of how a candidate wants to win the title for their country especially for the people who believes in them but in the process, the delegates discover the friendship and brotherhood.
It melts my heart whenever I see friendship blooming and in this particular pageant, Peru, Juan Carlos Cuenca and Spain, Pedro Salinas had discovered the goodness of each other.
Pedro had been the spokesperson of Juan Carlos since he is deaf, but whatever he have is not a hindrance rather an inspiration to do his best and it was so nice of Pedro to be of help.
One day at a time, their bond grew stronger and during the Closed Door Interview, Juan Carlos had expressed how thankful he had been that Pedro was with him during his journey at the pageant.
During the pageant night , Juan Carlos failed to enter the top 7 but he was at the backstage cheering for Pedro to win, Unfortunately, Pedro did not clinched the title but he went home not with the title but gained a brother whom he had been sharing good memories.
Indeed, pageantry is indeed a way to discover friendship and not just competition.
