The Association of Tourism Industries and Networks in La Union (ATIN-LU), the famous Halo Halo de Iloko, the City of San Fernando, La Union and the Province of La Union welcomed the 8 delegates of Miss Earth 2019, consisting of the delegates from Bolivia, South Sudan, South Korea, Malaysia, Kazakhztan, Poland,. Mongolia and Russia.
The ladies were welcomed by the owner and ATIN-LU Chairman, Mr. Xavier Mercado, who handed roses to all the ladies then upon entering the resto, Mr. Jojo Go of ATIN-LU handed them the bracelet made by the deaf and mute community. They were led by the ATIN -LU Tourism Director for Publicity, Airwind Bautista and Architect Bobby Baradi at the second floor of the resto where they had their welcome drink which Miss South Sudan particularly loved. They had fun preparing their own dessert, the halo-halo, which is the best seller in HHDI. They had a sumptuous meal prepared by the management and staff of HHDI then after their meal, the ladies were handed the gift from the City Government of San Fernando, La Union.
The reigning Miss Earth 2018, Vietnam's Phuong Khanh Nguyen will pass her crown to the new winner at the Miss Earth 2019 finals night happening on October 26, 2019 at Cove Manila at Okada Manila, Parañaque City, Philippines.
