The family of Gerald encouraged him to join pageants even he was more focused on his goals in life. He was the winner of Man of the Philippines -Dubai which entitled him to be part of MoPh 2019, he aims to be the representative of the OFWs by serving as their voice to speak about the issues that OFWs were facing abroad. His advocacy is Employees Right which will tackle about the maltreatment that OFWs were experiencing with their employers like delay of salary, most of them were seek legal process or assistance from the Philippine embassy thus he wants to be their voice.
Best experience in MoPh: The best experience was when his fellow OFWs had supported him me even they don;t know each other personally. This gave him the courage to fight and share the best memories. Gerald expects to learn a lot about how to understand things that doesn’t touch them personally. Man of the the Philippines must have a big heart for others.
Message to supporters: “This fight is not for me. It is all for overseas Filipino workers.”
