David Simon Ang Reyes for Mister Grand International 2018
David Simon Ang Reyes, 26 years old and a 6 footer from Makati City, Philippines is the reigning Mister Grand Philippines 2018.
David is a Freelance Marketing Consultant for SMEs in the food and beverages sector, a Managing Partner at an Events Company (NDA Protected, cant disclose the name), a co-author in Tribute Publishing from the USA, a Freelance Actor, Model and a Social Media Influencer. He graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management from Far Eastern University - Manila. He is a Civil Service Professional since 2017, an Events Management NCIII from TESDA since 2016, a Front Office Management NCII from TESDA since 2016. He is indeed a man of many talents.
He is into Paintball, Basketball and Volleyball, while he is also working out, travelling, writing, food adventures, hiking as forms of relaxation.
He won as the Mister Grand Philippines 2018 Grand Winner, awarded as Dermaworld Grand Ambassador. He was encouraged by several talent agents in the industry. His main motivation in joining is to spread his network and his brand penetration as an actor, model, and host. He also hopes to influence and revolutionize the way people think about the modelling industry and into sharing the ability to honor God and be a pageant king simultaneously. As a pageant winner , his advocacy is about Mental Health Awareness (Depression and Anxiety)
As a candidate of the recently concluded Mister Grand Philippines 2018, his best experience is encountering different people from various walks of life, knowing their stories and being able to relate with them. He is also honored to represent the name of his city nationwide. During the duration of the pageant, he realized that you can never please everyone so he always try to be the best version of himself without stepping on anyone else but your old self. Humility is jewel most people don't have.
After winning he was able to be a judge of the Mrs. Queen of the World 2018 pageant n Myanmar, he had one TV guesting in ABSCBN's Umagang Kay Ganda with Kalad Karen.
He will be representing the country on September 29, 2018 in Quezon City thus he had been working on his OWN branding, fitness and apparel sponsorship and collaborations; with the help of his relatives and friends. He was also attending PRIVATE workshops where God gave him the opportunity to be a scholar.
David wants to thank every single one of the people who were believing in him and for all their support, his prayer for each and one of them is for everyone to know God more and be inspired to have a deeper and closer relationship with Him. God was the one responsible for his triumph and no matter who you are, what you have done, God can and will lift you up. With God, to surrender to Him is total gain. Be a blessing to one another every single day motivated by knowing that you are immensely loved by a perfect God despite your imperfections.
