Mr. & Ms, Chinatown Philippines 2018 is presented by the Tak Chun Group 德晉集團 in cooperation with Miss Chinatown Foundation, Chinoy TV 菲華電視台and Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria. Grand Finals will be held on September 2, 2018 at the MOA Arena, with a telecast on September 9, 2018 at ABS-CBN’s Sunday’s Best.

The Fil-Chi Media Productions Inc., a lifestyle and television production company that aims to promote the Chinese culture as well as bridge the Chinese and Filipino communities through its weekly TV program, Chinoy TV on ANC, ABS-CBN News Channel, together with Miss Chinatown Foundation officially launched the Mr. And Ms. Chinatown 2018 pageant to formally commence the two-month journey towards the Coronation Night on September 2, 2018 at Mall of Asia Arena.

This year's Mr. And Ms. Chinatown Philippines is presented by Tak Chun Group, co-presented by the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc., and proudly organized by Chinoy TV, Miss Chinatown Foundation and ABS-CBN.

Mr. and Ms. Chinatown 2018 is the country's premier beauty pageant that spearheads the promotion of the unique fusion of the Chinese and Filipino culture since 2013 through the dedicated and progressive Chinoy youth.

Chinoy TV together with Tak Chun Group and Miss Chinatown Foundation brings in a bigger and bolder vision though it's theme: #BeautyindiverCHIty. The competition aims to share a collection of different stories of Modern Chinoy who are moving out the stereotypes while still being tied close their roots.

This year, Mr. and Ms. Chinatown will be represented by 28 young Chinoy; 14 male and 14 female candidates from different sectors of the community. They will be competing in different pre-pageant activities such as the Press Presentation on August 8, 2018, in Crowne Palza Galleria Manila wherein the candidates were presented namely,


The candidates faced the audience with confidence with their catwalk skill and wit as they answered the questions from the audience. The candidates have proven that they didn't only poses good looks but also intellect.
The Darling of the Press were awarded to  
Lawrence Chua and Rachel Tan  as they were chosen by the media composed of press and online bloggers.  Last year, the winners of the said award, Jacob Munez and Joy Wu went on to win the grand prize as Mr. & Ms. Chinatown 2017. So let’s see in the finals if they will have the same fate.



More activities will follow like the Fashion Show on August 15, 2018, in Robinson's Place Manila, wherein the Mr. & Miss Zalora will be awarded chosen thru online voting., Cultural Costume Competition on August 19, 2018, in Resorts World Manila wherein, the Mr. & Miss Inglot will be chosen based on online voting., the Talent Competition in August 26, 2018, in Lucky Chinatown Mall Atrium. Culminating the competition is the coronation night that will showcase the best in fitness, glamour and intellect, wherein we will witness the biggest celebration of individuality, unity and diversity on the Mr. & Miss Chinatown 2018 coronation night, happening on September 2, 2018 in SM Mall of Asia Arena. The winners will be receiving Php 200,000.00 for the grand winners, Php 100,000.00 for the 1st runners-up and Php 50,000.00 for the 2nd runners-up. The female grand winner will represent the Filipino-Chinese community in Miss Chinese International 2019.
The grand coronation night will be televised on ABS-CBN's Sunday Best in September 9, 2018.
