Micaella Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez, 22 years old and stands 5’6”. She is a beauty of a Filipino with Spanish descent.

She graduated High School as an honor student with an average of 96.33 in GCF International Christian School , during her college days , she was Merit Scholar and graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrated Marketing Communications in University of Asia and the Pacific. She had a 2 albums under VIVA Records, Addicted to Acoustic 3 and Yssa Muhlach. She received a Gold Record Award for her first album, Addicted Acoustic 3. She was also nominated for “Female Acoustic Artist of the Year” and “New Female Recording Artist of the Year” at the 3rd PMPC Star Awards for Music. Then she was nominated “Female Acoustic Artist of the Year” and her self-entitled album “Yssa Muhlach” was also nominated for “Acoustic Album of the Year” at the 6th PMPC Star Awards for Music. She had been a singer in GMA’s Party Pilipinas and was part of the said program for around 2 years. then she decided to join Miss World Philippines because she wants to be able to empower and inspire children who grew up abandoned, abused or felt neglected in any way. Yssa wants to share with them that their circumstances do not define who they are, rather it is the choices they make that show who really they are. Yssa wants to tell them that they can achieve anything they want in life as long as they put their hearts and minds into it. Yssa is into singing, playing instruments (Guitar & Piano), Reading books, Solving Word Search Puzzles and Boxing.

Her advocacy, is working with Gentle Hands Inc. Their vision is to be a center for rescue and healing of children in crisis. Yssa wants to be able to help them work towards improving the lives of children (who come from situations of crisis, trauma and abuse) through a faith-based and family-centered approach.
