Jeff Marti Gabriel, a rap artist from Tanza, Cavite, an IT Staff in Cypress Manufacturing and BS Information Technology graduate from Lyceum of the Philippines Cavite, is the candidate of the Province of Cavite in Man of the Philippines 2018.
He had taken up Information technology since he was amazed by what technology can do so he utilized technology in his passion for Vlogging and composing rap songs but he still keeping himself fit by hiking and playing basketball.
Part of his journey were joining the following, G. Tanza, 2nd Runner-up, Mr. & Miss Lyceum, 1st Runner-up and Mr. Philippines 2014, Top 8 Finalist. He joined pageants as encouraged by his relatives and friends and as pageant grows on him, he had then initiated himself to join.
Charlie Gomez, the franchise holder and the Municipality of Tanza had been the instruments in his joining of the Man of the Philippines. He had been so proud of the heritage of his Province of Cavite, which is the birthplace of the first President of the Philippines, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, and the site of the declaration of Independence Day in Kawit, Cavite,; the site of Sta. Cruz Parish in Tanza, Cavite wherein Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo had taken his oath as the President; the site of the first election in Tejero and at present, Cavite offers a lot of beach resorts and venue of adventure sites like that in Mt. Pico De Loro in Ternate, Cavite; one of the towns in Cavite, Amadeo offers Kapeng Alamid. He hopes to change the negative notion about the people of Cavite, since in reality, Caviteños are respectful, thoughtful, industrious, caring and nationalistic.
In his journey of Man of the Philippines, he had considered that meeting his fellow candidates since instead of competition, he considers it as a chance to meet new friends.
The Strict Implementation of Waste Segregation is his advocacy since he firmly believes in preserving the nature thru proper discipline of the people in handling the wastes. He believes that he can take part in improving the country thru the advocacy they are promoting as MoPh candidates, whether they will win or lose, he attested that they will continue in doing their advocacy for teh good of the country.
As early as of now, he wants to extend gratitude to everyone supporting him and if he got the chance, he wants to embrace everyone just to show how grateful he is. He ended the interview with this tagline, BASTA TAGA CAVITE DE KALIBRE !!!!! PEACE OUT.
