John Paul Smith, Catwalk Philippines 2018 Male
Grand Winner
John
Paul Smith Angeles City Pampanga who is only 17 years old but with a towering
height of 6'1" won as the Male Grand Winner of Catwalk Philippines 2018.
He
is currently studying at Angeles University Foundation as a Grade 12 student
under ABM track (tourism), and he is still on the process of deciding
what course to take up in college.
He
is into basketball and badminton as well into dancing and biking.
Last
July 20, 2018, he had won the first ever Catwalk Philippines 2018 and hoping
his victory will open more doors of opportunities since he is indeed a potential
Male Supermodel with his height, looks and runway skills.
John Paul Smith started joined and won Mr. ACNHS 2015 and Mr. Beverly Place 2017, where he took home most of the special awards. His
teachers as well as friends in high school were the one who encouraged him as
they saw potentials in him to do great in pageants. Mr. Richard Strands
informed him of the screening for Catwalk Philippines 2018. He considered that
the best lesson he had learned during the competition is about discipline and
being professional in all aspects, Direk Cata Figueroa had left him with some
lessons and it marked on him about never giving up, keep on trying that no
matter how many rejections you will encounter, never give up especially modeling
is his passion and making it big is his dream. Remain humble and stay as what
he is as he must always be optimistic no matter what happens by making God as
the center of his life, those are things that makes him to remain strong in
reaching out for his dreams in life.
With
his optimistic approach in his life, he hopes to have more projects and continuous
exposure since he wants to work with more professional models and mentors since
in that way that he learns more.
In
line with his victory in Catwalk Philippines 2018, he wants to extend his
gratitude especially the people who supported him, he may not name everyone but
what he keeps in his heart and mind are the sacrifices and support of those good
people who were instrumental in his way to reach out his dreams in life.
