Man of the Philippines Quezon City 2018

Man of the Philippines Quezon City 2018

TJ Mendoza Padua, a 26 years old entrepreneur is teh Man of the Philippines Quezon City 2018.

TJ was a Broadcasting Communication graduate from Colegio de San Lorenzo, Quezon City, a Former PTV 4 Manila Sports Reporter and a former corporate guy (Supervisor and Assistant Branch Manager) in a Health and Wellnes Company "UNO Premier" in BGC, Taguig and now an Entrepreneur, owning his own Perfume line called SUEÑOS PARFUMS by TJ Padua Parfum Collections and other authentic stuff/items from abroad.
An only child  and was born in Makati City, had decided to take up Broadcasting Communication since it was his childhood dream since everytime he saw some reporters on TV, he always told himself that someday he will be one of the country's journalist and joining some respected journalists in the country is his ultimate goal and chance to work with his idols. And he thinks he already reached that level during his PTV 4 days stint as a Sports Correspondent for a Sports evening newscast PTV Sports (Manila). After MOPH, he would also like to pursue his media career.

TJ likes to travel here and abroad, doing some physical activities like biking, archery and playing tennis., hangout and coffee time with friends where mostly they we're talking about being volunteers in some charitable institutions.

It wasn't to join a pageant but still, TJ is so happy and satisfied with his progress and accomplishments in this competition even that he had some flaws and things to improve for MOPH prep or events. They are doing mall shows and out of town with his fellow candidates that gives a chance to get close to each other, which is  a priceless feeling that they will treasure it till the end. TJ is thankful and grateful for all the people in this competition who's there for him and giving him some piece of advices for him to get presentable and pageant ready throughout this beautiful journey.

TJ is a newbie or a new blood in this national pageant since he used to join pageant but only for school
Here's his school pageant achievements:
● 2011 Mr. Communication Arts (model of his department as well)
● 2012 Mr. Colegio de San Lorenzo (3rd runner up)
● 2013 San Lorenzo Finest (Most Popular Student)
● 2014 Overall School Ambassador for Colegio de San Lorenzo, QC
● 2015 CDSL Special Awards (Merit) as he represented his school for PTV 4 Sports. Acted as a Student Correspondent then later on he became a Sports Correspondent after he graduated because of his good performance with recommendation.

TJ's talent agency (Saikou Talent Agency Management) in Makati, encouraged him to join as he was appointed as a candidate for Man of the Philippines representing Quezon City.       His family and friends are his my support system thru ups and down.
TJ's  advocacy in joining this pageant is CHILDREN'S EDUCATION, since growing up, he used to watch street children or children living in a less conducive environment, one would not call home. He told myself, he wants to volunteer and bridge some of their learning gaps. He wants to impart some of his knowledge and show them how to pursue their (wildest) dreams. Since he already found fulfillment as they learn something new, seeing smiles on children's faces is the best reward for him at the end of the day. Inspiring them is the last thing he wants to do for them, what's important for him is instill the love of learning. He envisions better society when children receive the education they deserve, thus making an impact in a positive way.

TJ was born here in Manila, particularly in Makati but his parents hometown is in Lucena, Quezon province. But now they reside in Quezon City.
TJ thinks being with his moph (pageant) brothers as a memorable MoPh experience because everytime they see each other, it was a priceless moment for them. They are enjoying and supporting each other in their daily activities and being with all the MOPH organizers as well. That was the best experience for him that he will never forget.
Joining this competition has been cataclysmic for him in many ways. Thru sheer trainings and activities, he was able to go further regarding his self respect and discipline. This competition taught him how to value himself, time and the people he was working with. With hope embedded in his heart, he knows that he will soar even more with lessons he had learned along the way.

TJ would like to say thank you and share his blessings and his gratitude for everything he've been blessed with. Family, friends, and continued support from everyone. And lastly he is very thankful to all his online supporters and sponsors (his endorsements) for their constant love and support. He is what he is because of their unconditional love.  His success was due to good luck, hard work, and support and advice from friends and mentors. But most importantly, it depended on him to keep trying after he had failed many times. But here he is, enjoying each and every moment. 😊 Stand tall with confidence and kindness! That's how he wants to be remembered.
